Damien Alfano, founding CEO, an engineer and physicist by training, after a stint in the innovation department at Valeo, founded and successfully sold his first company in 2019, then fulfilled his childhood dream in 2021 by creating Quarkus.
As a true automotive and physics enthusiast, Damien Alfano is convinced that it is more possible than ever to honor the French automotive heritage and bring it into the future in a disruptive way.
Our obsession: mass reduction
With an innovative 100% carbon and Kevlar composite chassis, Quarkus definitely occupies a unique place in the global automotive industry: a total weight of 600 kg, similar to that of a single-seater, but completely unprecedented for a two-seater coupé.
